Bonded Brotherhood Summer Bash 2.0 Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk Agreement

Voluntary Participation

I understand that I am voluntarily choosing to participate in Bonded Brotherhood Summer Bash 2.0. This is a recreational men’s event involving outdoor adventure, water activities, games, and group connection experiences, including but not limited to those described below.

My participation is fully voluntary, and I may choose not to participate in any specific activity at any time.

Activities and Environment

I understand that this event takes place on private property in an outdoor recreational setting and activities may include, but are not limited to:

Swimming and pond activities
Zipline use
High dive jumps
Waterslide use
Kayaking and water play areas
Volleyball and yard games
Running, climbing, and field activities
Music and movement activities
Campfire gathering and nighttime activities
Uneven ground and outdoor terrain
Use of recreational equipment and structures
Group activities and physical challenges

I understand that outdoor recreation, water environments, and height-based activities involve additional inherent and reasonably foreseeable risks that may not be specifically listed here. Not every possible hazard or risk can be identified in advance.

I accept and assume responsibility for all ordinary and reasonable risks associated with outdoor recreation and adventure activities of any kind related to this event, whether specifically listed or not.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Slips, trips, and falls
Diving and jumping injuries
Water-related injury including drowning risk
Cold water shock or panic response
Zipline or height-related injury
Impact injuries from slides or jumps
Collisions with people or equipment
Sprains, strains, or fractures
Cuts and bruises
Equipment failure or misuse
Uneven terrain hazards
Nighttime visibility limitations
Weather exposure
Delayed emergency response due to property location
Emotional discomfort during group conversations

These risks may arise from known or unknown conditions, participant actions, environmental factors, or other reasonably foreseeable or unforeseeable causes.

I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks — known and unknown — including but not limited to those described above, even if arising from negligence, and accept full responsibility for my participation.

Water and Height Activity Acknowledgment

I understand that zip lines, high dives, waterslides, pond activities, and other elevation or water-based recreation involve increased and inherent risk, including but not limited to impact injury, panic response, loss of control, or misjudgment.

I agree that:

I participate only if I feel capable
I will use personal judgment and caution
I am responsible for my participation level
I may decline any activity without penalty

I accept all ordinary and reasonable risks associated with these activities, whether specifically described or not.

Medical and Physical Fitness

I confirm that I am physically and mentally able to participate in recreational and adventure activities of the type involved in this event, including but not limited to water, height, and movement-based activities.

I agree that:

I will manage my own medical needs and medications
I will not participate under the influence of drugs or alcohol
I will disclose relevant safety concerns if needed

I understand Bonded Brotherhood does not provide medical care, therapy, or clinical services of any kind.

I authorize emergency medical treatment if necessary and accept full financial responsibility for any medical services received, including but not limited to emergency transport and treatment.

Conduct Requirements

I agree to follow all safety guidance and event rules, including but not limited to those communicated verbally or in writing by event leaders.

I agree to:

Respect other participants
Respect the private property and facilities
Use caution around water, heights, and equipment
Refrain from drugs and alcohol
Avoid reckless or dangerous behavior

Bonded Brotherhood may remove participants who create safety risks or major disruption, including but not limited to unsafe or non-compliant conduct.

Private Property Acknowledgment

I understand this event is held on privately owned property with recreational features and equipment. I accept risks associated with entering and using private recreational property including but not limited to natural and man-made features.

I agree to respect the land, structures, and equipment and to follow property rules and restrictions.

I understand the address is shared after registration for privacy reasons and agree not to publicly distribute it.

Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Bonded Brotherhood and its founder, leaders, volunteers, facilitators, assistants, partners, sponsors, property owners, landowners, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and causes of action of any kind, including but not limited to claims arising from:

Personal injury
Water-related injury or drowning
Height or zipline-related injury
Illness or medical emergency
Emotional distress
Property damage or property loss
Death
Participation in event activities of any kind
Use or misuse of recreational equipment or structures
Presence on or travel to and from the property

This release applies to all claims including but not limited to those based on ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and defend Bonded Brotherhood and the property owner from any claims, damages, or costs arising from my actions or omissions, including but not limited to negligence, rule violations, or damage to persons or property.

Emotional Discussion Disclaimer

I understand that group conversations and connection activities may include personal or emotional topics.

This event provides peer connection and support, including but not limited to group discussion and shared experiences, and is not therapy or clinical treatment. I am responsible for my own emotional participation and boundaries.

Media Release

I grant permission for Bonded Brotherhood to use photos or video taken during the event for website, social media, and promotional materials, including but not limited to marketing and educational content, without compensation.
